I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with offices in San Diego, California and Escondido, California.
I provide diagnostic and medication evaluations for adults and older adults. My specialty areas include treating depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar, schizophrenia, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
I received my Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from New York Medical College and completed my internship and residency in psychiatry at Naval Medical Center San Diego. I served as an active duty Navy psychiatrist for 7 years and have experience working with active duty and veterans.
Locations
For your convenience, I have two office locations with Southern California Psychology Centers. I am currently providing telehealth sessions only (via video or phone if you are unable to do a video appointment).
My San Diego office is located in Serra Mesa off of I-15.

First Session
Our first session is generally 45-50 minutes long and designed to gather detailed information so that we can create an effective treatment plan together.
Our office staff will set you up with our patient portal to complete the initial consent forms.
Please have available at your first appointment:
List of medications with dosage and frequency
Medical and Surgical history
List of prior psychiatric medications (if available)
Follow Up Sessions
Follow up visits are 15 to 30 minutes. In case you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 48 hours. Otherwise, a $100 missed appointment fee will be assessed.

Please call with any questions regarding which insurance plans I am currently accepting. Copayments and deductibles are due at the time of the appointment. You are responsible for any unpaid balance not covered by insurance.
